It was a cold day for Delhiites on Monday, with mercury staying five notches below average at 3.4 degrees Celsius. A dense morning fog disrupted train services, though flights were not affected.

Heavy showers drenched Delhiites on Friday, leaving many of them on the roads as traffic went haywire due to water logging while a minor girl lost her life when the boundary wall of a hospital collapsed.

It was a pleasant on Saturday morning for Delhiites with a cool breeze blowing and the mercury level settling at the season’s average of 25.7 degrees Celsius.

Delhiites cannot expect to be safe if they venture outside late night, Delhi police commissioner B.K. Gupta said on Saturday.
