Pleasant morning for Delhi, rains in store

It was a pleasant on Saturday morning for Delhiites with a cool breeze blowing and the mercury level settling at the season’s average of 25.7 degrees Celsius.

The Met office predicted rains later in the day. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city received 12 mm of rainfall from Friday evening to Saturday morning and more rains were in store for the weekend. "The skies will remain cloudy on Saturday with possibility of rain and thundershowers during the later part of the day," an IMD official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees. On Friday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 26.4 and 33 degrees respectively.
