HRD won’t table higher education bill
Nov. 9: The human resources development ministry will not be able to table the much-awaited bill for setting up the National Commission for Higher Education and Research in the upcoming Winter session of Parliament.
However, the government plans to introduce major reforms bills, including bill to check educational malpractices and a bill to set up educational tribunals in the country in the coming session. This was revealed by the HRD minister Kapil Sibal on Monday at a discussion on higher education reforms. "I want to introduce whole lot of bills in this session.
