BJP chief unable to assert himself: RSS

BJP chief Nitin Gadkari does it again. After reorganising only one of the 33 cells in the organisation, he has gone ahead to appoint a coordinator of all the cells and morchas. On Saturday, Mr Gadkari appointed a former RSS pracharak and party’s Himachal Pradesh unit’s organisational secretary, Mr Mahendra Kumar, as coordinator of party’s cells and morcha’s. Even before appointing heads of existing cells, Mr Gadkari had recently formed two new cells, governance cell and MPs-MLAs development cell.
Sensing that Mr Gadkari was not being able to handle the organisation firmly and properly, the RSS has asked him “not to sit on the decisions to get a green signal from other top leaders of the party.”
The RSS, which had played a key role in getting Mr Gadkari appointed as the party chief, feels that he was “not being able to assert himself” and his “delay in taking decisions has been severely affecting the party”.
Sources disclosed during the recent meeting between RSS top leadership and BJP’s top brass, Mr Gadkari’s ineptness was one of the major issues discussed. Mr Gadkari was also present during the meeting along with senior party leaders, including BJP parliamentary party chairman L.K. Advani and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj. Mr Gadkari, it was learnt, was asked by the RSS to take “firm and swift” decisions. He was also asked not to keep issues pending for long, sources disclosed.
Mr Gadkari had been receiving flak for not filling up important organisational posts, including states incharge.
Though Mr Gadkati had appointed heads of party’s various wings, including women and youth, he is yet to appoint incharge of these wings.

Congrats to Mr Gadkari for

Congrats to Mr Gadkari for his new team and this all important post of coordinator of all cells and morchas, but now he should make it a point that all officebearers give him periodic development in terms of qualitative and quantitative improvement in the working of the party and the improvement of mass base. He should be a strict boss and need compliance. All the best to him.
