India sends Pak strong 26/11 note
On the eve of the second anniversary of the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India has sent a strongly-worded diplomatic communication to Pakistan reminding it of its commitment to bring the perpetrators of the attacks to justice.
India is understood to have expressed concern over the lack of progress in the investigations in Pakistan and the Pakistan government’s failure to share more information, such as the names of seven handlers — including two officers of the Pakistani Army — involved in the attacks, which were given by home minister P. Chidambaram during his meeting with his Pakistani counterpart in June in Islamabad.
Pakistan has also chosen not to respond to India’s request for voice samples of the handlers, whose conversations were intercepted as the attacks were carried out.
India was equally concerned over the lack of progress in the trial of seven Lashkar-e-Tayyaba terrorists in Pakistan who were arrested in connection with 26/11.
Meanwhile, US ambassador to India Tim Roemer paid tribute to the 26/11 victims and promised America’s support to India in its fight against terrorism.

Our actions of sending notes/reminders to Pakistan urging it to hasten trial of 26/11 colprits are like our babus sending reminders on files (NOT concerned about the result/action)!
