Mahi pulled out dead from borewell
Rescuers today pulled out four-year-old Mahi dead from the 70-feet-deep borewell near Manesar where she was trapped for the last four days.
“Mahi has been pulled out from the borewell—She is dead,” Gurgaon District Magistrate P.C. Meena said. Late last night, rescuers had pierced a hard rock in their effort to reach the girl, trapped in the pit since June 20.
The hard rock was a major hurdle which the rescuers had been struggling to break for the last three days. The slab was located in the horizontal tunnel between the borewell and the pit dug up to rescue the child. Mahi fell into the borewell at Kho village near Manesar while playing with her friends on June 20, her fourth birthday.
Over 100 officials drawn from army, fire, police, Gurgaon Rapid Metrorail, health and revenue departments, and locals were involved in drilling the pit parallel to the borewell.

I'm very very sad for Mahi and my mind just trying how this tragedy could have avoided. We all are responsible. We don't do our duties properly in daily life including people in top to bottom. We don't do duties with pure heart-in the name of Nation, in the name of humanity, in the name of duty. We do anything until we find any personal interest ignoring all other parameters of the nature and nation. I held responsible mainly people in to the top because ethical they have to show more good manners to the nation in their action. I REQUEST ALL THE POLITICIANS AND BUREAUCRATS FIRST TO STOP CORRUPTION AND SECONDLY DO DUTIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIETY AFTER ALL YOU ALL ARE PAID BY POOR PUBLIC.
