US woman sues ex-employer for subjecting her to No-bra Thursday
A woman in Utah is suing her former employer for sexual harassment in the workplace, claiming that he forced her to follow a highly suggestive ‘dress code’ schedule.
Each day of the week allegedly had a special theme, strictly for the woman - such as Mini-skirt on Monday, Tube-top on Tuesday, Wet-t-shirt on Wednesday, No-bra on Thursday and Bikini-top on Friday, reports The Globe and Mail.
According to a report in the Salt Lake Tribune, the lawsuit also alleges that the employer requested the woman sign a sheet stating she would accept the harassment with the understanding that if she had a problem with it, she would be let go.
In February of 2011, Anderson says she was fired for reporting Wright's sexual harassment.
She is suing for the way she was terminated, as well as for the battery and emotional distress she says she suffered on the job.
“As a result of the stress and emotional trauma of this experience, Ms. Anderson has been losing sleep, seeking professional help and has ulcers,” the complaint states.
