Poll: Rajagopal doing rounds on Facebook
Election waves have started to reverberate in the state yet again in the form of Neyyattinkara bypolls and the Bharatiya Janata Party has got the head start over rivals with some high intensity campaigning in the virtual sphere.
BJP’s candidate O. Rajagopal is doing his rounds in Facebook even as the UDF and LDF vote seekers are yet to start their official campaigning online.
The national party is trying to woo the young net savvy voters by putting up posters and posts hailing the veteran BJP man for his commendable work as Union Railway minister during the term of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Posters against the fifth minister post and Selvaraj’s UDF alliance are also created and shared by BJP followers.
BJP activists also urged the supporters across the state to ensure their presence in Neyyattinkara for the bypolls. Apart from promoting the Hindu tag of Rajagopal they are focusing on the developments he brought to the state.
They have also criticised the stand of SNDP and NSS for not publicly expressing their support to Rajagopal.
The highlight of the campaign is the posters celebrating the victory of 80-year-old Rajagopal. Wallpapers are created celebrating his election victory.
