Sushant in a dilemma

Sushant Singh Rajput, who was playing the lead in the hit serial Pavitra Rishta, quit his television career to pursue his big screen ambitions. The actor’s original plan was to go to New York for a short course in filmmaking but life had other plans.

He grabbed a role in UTV productions Kai Po Che that is based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel The 3 Mistakes Of My Life. And that’s not all. Sushant is already an industry favourite, as other biggies want to cast him in their projects as well.
According to grapevine, he had a closed-door meeting with Aditya Chopra where he was offered a three-film contract by the producer. But since he has already signed the UTV film, Sushant is currently caught in a dilemma. “Working in a Yash Raj Film is every newcomer’s dream. Kai Po Che is Sushant’s launchpad , so he has to focus on it. But he trying to figure out a way he can collaborate with YRF too,” said our source.
The last TV actor who saw this kind of hype surrounding him was Shah Rukh Khan. “It’s too early to predict Sushant’s future in Bollywood. He is a good actor and a brilliant dancer. He has nearly everything going for him. Hopefully he will live up to all expectations,” the source adds.

Sushant is a good actor but

Sushant is a good actor but he is NO Shahrukh Khan!! Shahrukh is not the conventional handsome guy but charisma and appeal oozes from his very presence!!
Sushant is good for TV but I doubt that he has what it takes to be a big screen actor..... I like him... But it just an opinion...

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
