Here’s a look at the good, the bad and the ugly, as far as World Cup hair-dos are concerned. Worthy of a special mention are the Gheorge Hagi-led Romania squad at France ’98. Giving new meaning to the term one for all, all for one, the entire squad dyed their hair bleach blonde in a show of a solidarity ahead of their last Group match against Tunisia.
Needing a point to qualify for the knockout stages, the blonde hair worked like a charm as Romania held on for a draw.
