A 55-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by his son over the former's second marriage at Sojru village in the district, police said on Thursday.
Sadakat Ali, who was angry with his father Maroof Ali's second marriage, shot him dead on Wednesday while he was sleeping in his house, they said.
A case has been registered against the absconding accused, police said, adding that further probes are on.
