Concerned with the spiralling prices affecting the common man, BJP on Monday lashed out at the Centre and the Uttar Pradesh government for its inability to check the price rise.
"The governments, both at the Centre and in the state, have proved to be failure on all fronts and the people are facing the trouble of rising prices due to the policies created by them," former Union minister and BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said here.
He also alleged that people were living in an atmosphere of fear in the state even as the Mayawati-led BSP government in UP has assured security.
Mr Hussain said that only his party will be an alternative to the Central and state governments in the next election.
