RBI hike: No loan effect, yet

Although the Reserve Bank of India raised key policy rates on Tuesday in a bid to control rising prices, banks have ruled out immediate hikes in lending and deposit rates. Hit-&-run accused arrested on plane to Russia

An MBBS student who allegedly drove a speeding car that ran over 8 labourers, killing four of them, in south Delhi early on Monday has been arrested by the south Delhi police. The accused was trying to escape from the country and had boarded a plane to Russia when the police managed to catch him. The flight reportedly had to be stopped on the runway for his arrest.

T-3’s full ops begin today

The new integrated Terminal-3 at the New Delhi IGI airport will witness the start of continuous international operations from Wednesday evening, with the arrival of an Air India flight from New York at 4.45 pm. However, domestic operations will begin from the T-3 only from August 27.

‘Pak should stop sheltering terror’
