Amar shifted to aiims, decision on bail reserved

Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh has been shifted to AIIMS from his cell in Tihar jail on Monday evening. The Tihar jail authorities confirmed that they have called a team of doctors to examine the health conditions of Mr Singh and the team referred him to AIIMS.

Court seeks report on Amar health

A local court on Thursday sought a report from the Tihar officials on the health condition of Amar Singh, who was sent to the jail on Tuesday, while hearing a bail plea of the Rajya Sabha MP for his alleged involvement in the 2008 cash-for-vote case.
