In what may force the court to reopen two Tada cases of extortion implicating Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti on Saturday produced the original files and case diaries which were missing from the police station leading to closure of the case. In fact, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had been acquitted in two Tada cases a few years back by the top court because the case diary and investigation report of the investigating officer of the two cases had gone missing mysteriously from Chandmari and Panbazar police station of Assam.
