Guard found murdered in MCD park

A 54-year-old security guard was found murdered in an MCD park in Netaji Subhash Place area of northwest Delhi.
A senior police official said the deceased was identified as Vidya Ram. The official said his body bore marks of multiple injuries.

Rape victim’s kin file complaint

The relatives of the five- year-old girl, who was raped on April 15, on Friday lodged a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women and the Delhi police on the state of the victim.

Some foreign students have complained to the police that they were stalked and harassed in Nehru Park by two men. A group of 12 students from Pakistan, Bhutan and Bangladesh lodged a complaint with the police alleging that they were stalked and harassed by two men posted with the embassy of Egypt.

DU English teacher’s home raided

A team of Maharashtra police, accompanied by the Delhi police, raided the house of a Delhi University teacher on Thursday allegedly on the grounds that his residence was being used as “a place for the deposit of stolen property.”
