Peak hour morning traffic was hit for over two hours at several places in Bengaluru on Tuesday as Congress workers blocked roads demanding dismissal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state.

For the second time in less than 72 hours, the Cabinet on Monday requested the governor to convene the session of the state legislature — this time from June 2.
