Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday refuted Salman Rushdie's accusation that the police concocted a supposed death threat to keep him away from the Jaipur Literature Festival.

The Maharashtra ATS picked them up from Mohali suspecting their role in July 13 bomb triple bomb blasts in Mumbai. Ironically, however, the boys’ families are claiming that the ATS, which has now let off the four suspects on bail, is now offering to speak to their college so that they are not suspended.
Sena man, snapped up by NCP, attacks Uddhav
For the last few days, several local NCP leaders in Thane have joined the Shiv Sena. However, on Friday it was the NCP’s turn, which snapped up a bigger fish — Shiv Sena’s member of Parliament from Thane — Anand Paranjape.

2 IM men recced Lalbaugcha Raja
The two Pakistani nationals, believed to be Indian Mujahideen cadre, who had stayed in Byculla prior to the 13/7 triple blasts had done a recce of the Lalbaugcha Raja between September 1 and 4, investigations have revealed. Sources said the duo could not gather the explosives on time and left for Delhi, where they are believed to have been involved in the September 7 blasts outside the Delhi high court.
