Assam asked to intensify ops against Ulfa faction

Union home minister P. Chidambaram has asked the state government to intensify counter-insurgency operations against anti-talk faction of Ulfa and said that home ministry would consider the options of holding talks with anti-talk faction of National Democratic Front of Bodoland only if they send a formal letter to the home ministry expressing their willingness for resolving the issue through talks.
