Viveka boyfriend files for anticipatory bail
Stockbroker Gautam Vora, whose name cropped up as the “boyfriend” whose “fear of commitment” killed model Viveka Babajee, applied for anticipatory bail in the sessions court.
RIL’s seventh oil discovery at Cambay
Reliance Industries has announced its seventh oil discovery in its exploration block CB-ONN-2003/1. This block is in the Cambay Basin in Gujarat.
RIL had earlier announced a discovery in this block on June 11. The company owns a 100 per cent interest in the 635 sq km onshore block, which it bagged in the fifth round of NELP — the new exploration and licensing policy.
Tata Motors to raise funds
Weighed down with heavy debt, Tata Motors has decided to raise about Rs 4,700 crore through the issue of securities in domestic and international markets. The funds will also be used to finance the company’s expansion programmes.
FM: Fuel hike will step up inflation

Cops say model killed self, but look for her boyfriend
Supermodel Viveka Babajee, who committed suicide at her Khar residence on Friday night, was believed to be mentally disturbed. The Khar police recovered a pack of sleeping pills from Viveka’s flat. The post-mortem reports have ruled out foul play and place the time of death at about seven hours before the body was discovered.
