IAS officer arrested for leaking info to firms
IAS officer Ravi Inder Singh, who was allegedly indulging in corporate espionage by leaking information to telecom companies and seeking sexual favours and money in return, was arrested late Tuesday night. The Delhi police has registered a case against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

A 31-year-old inmate allegedly committed suicide in Tihar Jail.
The son of a municipal councillor, who was lodged in Tihar Jail for the past 18 months in connection with the cases of burglary and theft, allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan on Monday, with his family members alleging foulplay in the case.
Inter-caste marriage doesn’t confer SC/ST status: HC

Raise retirement age of headmasters: HC
More than 1,700 headmasters working under various Municipal Corporation Delhi (MCD) schools in the city have a good reason to cheer as a division bench of the Delhi high court on Tuesday asked the state government to increase the retirement age of government school headmasters by two years from 60 to 62 like those of teachers.
