Now, pvt. schools to get state grants

In a move to deter private schools from hiking fees on a regular basis, the education ministry has cleared a proposal to provide them with grants so that these schools can pay off bills for amenities

No more DEd college permits

The state government has decided to stop permissions for new DEd colleges in the state, as they are churning out more teachers than the jobs available.
