Rajasthan: Docs call off strike
The doctors in Rajasthan called off their strike after the state government consented to transfer police and administrative officials from Jodhpur. However, during the three-day long strike, 50 people lost their lives at different hospitals. But the doctors say it will be wrong to blame the deaths on the strike.

Sangh mouthpiece’s land faces inquiry
The Rajasthan government has ordered a probe into land allotted to Sangh Parivar mouthpiece Pathey Kann, allegedly at a throwaway price, during the previous BJP government. According to the government, the allotment has been put on stay till the completion of the probe. This is the second such case when the Sangh Parivar is facing the music over land allotment.

Raje pulls up Gehlot over rains

(was he hiding in the cave last time?), she asked.
SMS war on Gehlot blames him for less rains
A section of the BJP blamed chief minister Ashok Gehlot and his Congress party for poor rains. A war of words kicked off between Mr Gehlot and the Opposition BJP when allegedly thousands of SMSes were sent out saying Rajasthan received good rains only in Mr Gehlot’s absence from the state. The SMS campaign started first when Mr Gehlot left for America on 20 June. The messages said: When Gehlot left for US, the state received rains.

ATS seeks time to file charges in Ajmer case
A local court in Ajmer has granted more time to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Rajasthan police to complete investigation and file a chargesheet in the dargah blast case. The ATS sought more time to finalise a chargesheet against the suspects arrested in the blast case.
