Dip in prices sparks gold rush

All that glitters... is gold. And when you get that glitter at an all-time low, then it’s time for a mega buying spree. With gold prices dropping to about `28,000 for 10 grams, the lowest since 2011, people have been flocking to jewellery stores in the city. Most of the shops have seen 30-50 per cent rise in footfalls.

As a nation obsessed with cricket, it comes as no surprise that IPL is probably the most watched programme on the small screen — with its high dose of drama, suspense, glamour and fashion making it a complete package. With the Indian Premier League managing to grab maximum eyeballs on the small screen, it comes as no surprise, that a sports crime novel is all set to combine the love for cricket and literature. The League, written by Rajiv Rajendra, is a story set in the background of a fictitious cricket league and has the makings of a great crime thriller.
