Janata Party chief Subramanium Swamy on Tuesday stated on Tuesday that he was planning to file a criminal complaint agai-nst former telecom minister A. Raja on charges of corruption for his role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

The Opposition on Tuesday increased pressure on the government for a joint parliamentary committee into 2G spectrum allocation issue against the backdrop of the Supreme Court’s observation about the delay on the part of the Prime Minister in taking a decision on a plea for sanction of prosecution of former telecom minister A. Raja .

The Opposition did not allow Parliament to function for the second consecutive day in the second week of the Winter Session as it stuck with the demand of a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into the allocation of the 2G spectrum.

With the CAG “indicting” former communications minister A. Raja on several counts for his alleged acts of “commission and omission” in the allotment of 2G spectrum licences, his mere resignation is not going to end his troubles but it in fact opened the way for beginning of his problems.
