‘People of India & Arunachal’: Jairam gaffe?

Environment and forests minister Jairam Ramesh on Thursday said that the challenge before the government is to draw the maximum possible benefit from Arunachal Prad-esh, which has a hydel capacity of over 15,000 megawatts, so that “both the people of Arunachal Pradesh and people of India also benefit’’. Mr Ramesh said that Arunachal Pradesh has over 15,000 megawatts of hydel capacity.
