Robbers loot S. Delhi flats

A gang of unidentified robbers carried out a daring heist on Wednesday night in south Delhi’s Saket area, barging into at least 10 houses and looting cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees.

Politician’s Merc hits taxi: Woman dead

A speeding Mercedes-Benz belonging to a politician rammed into a taxi near Africa Avenue early Thursday morning, killing a woman passenger and injuring the driver.
The two Mercedes occupants, including a former political leader’s son, fled, leaving the two injured in the taxi bleeding to death. The police said the incident took place around 3.30 am on Church Road in the R.K. Puram area.
