NRI doc arrested for dowry, assault

Kolkata, Feb. 6: A London-based doctor from Bengal was arrested for torturing his wife for dowry late Friday night. His wife is a British citizen by birth and a lawyer by profession. Tarif-ur-Rehman, 32, originally from Duttafulia in Ranaghat, Nadia, did his MMBS from Chittaranjan National Medical College.

Speaker admitted to Singapore hospital
