Congress for Assam polls before April 14
The ruling Congress government has decided to propose the Assembly elections in Assam to be held before the Rongali Bihu and Assamese New Year that is on April 14.
Ulfa 'chairman' granted bail
Ulfa 'chairman' ArabindaRajkhowa was on Thursday granted bail by a designated Tada court here with the Assam government filing no objection to it.
