The BJP on Tuesday said it is “unfortunate” that the Congress is raising the Babri Masjid demolition issue “again and again”. The party said the law is taking its course in the matter, advising the Congress against giving “edification”.

Radiation leak case: New panel to pinpoint blame

Amid protests from the teachers’ representatives, Delhi University’s apex decision-making body, the Executive Council (EC), on Monday decided to institute a three-member panel to further pin-point blame in the April radiation exposure case.
The decision was taken following the discussion on the Pancholi Committee report in the EC.

2nd witness turns hostile, jolts CBI

Giving a jolt to the prosecution and the CBI, Ram Avtar Sharma, a prosecution witness on Monday turned hostile while deposing before the court of additional sessions judge (ASJ) Sunita Gupta, claiming that he had not given shelter to one of the victims in connection with a 1984 anti-Sikh riot case in which senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar is an accused.
