The government is planning to set up a civil aviation safety advisory council in the wake of the devastating Mangalore crash of an Air-India Express aircraft. The proposal was mooted during a high-level meeting at the ministry presided over by civil aviation minister Praful Patel.

Bhutanese national is found dead
A Bhutanese national was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Paharganj area on Tuesday morning.
Police officials said the deceased, identified as Bhoj Bahadur, who was apparently on vacation here along with his two friends, didn’t respond to repeated knockings on his door on Tuesday morning by a waiter of Star Palace hotel in Paharganj area.

Man held for killing 6-yr-old girl
A 25-year-old man, who allegedly kidnapped a six-year-old girl to repay his debts and later killed her, was arrested here, the police said on Tuesday. Sanjay was apprehended on Monday night from his rented house in Alipur area of northwest Delhi.
