Two more CRPF jawans succumbed to their injuries at Jagdalpur hospital early on Wednesday morning taking the total death toll in Tuesday’s Maoist landmine blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district to seven, the police said.

Veteran Congress leader Tarun Gogoi here on Wednesday scripted a new history by taking over the office of Assam chief minister for the third successive term. Assam governor J.B. Patnaik administered the oath of office and secrecy to 76-year-old Gogoi in Assamese at Durbara Hall of Raj Bhavan.

The south east Delhi police has cracked the murder case of a 21-year-old woman who was brutally murdered at the Millennium Park in April.
The police said the accused identified as Jitender Singh, 26, a plumber, allegedly slit the throat of the deceased Sandhya after marrying her. The deceased was already married and Singh wanted to get rid of her.
