Joshi: Chacko must give suggestions in writing

BJP’s N-doctrine demand rejected

The government on Wednesday rejected the BJP’s demand for re-visiting India’s “nuclear doctrine”. Minister for external affairs S.M. Krishna informed the Lok Sabha that India will continue with its “no first use” and “minimum credible deterrent policy” in view of the possible threats and challenges.

After minister for external affairs S.M. Krishna completed his reply on the demand for grant of his ministry in the Lok Sabha, members from all sides, including the ruling Congress, created ruckus in the House by raising the twin issue of golfer Amritinder Singh being asked to take off his turban at the Milan airport and the suffering of Indian students, who went to US to study at fraud Tri Valley University.
