Car falls into open pit sans warning

At least three persons had a lucky escape when their car fell into a 15-feet pit near Anand Vihar inter-state bus terminal on Tuesday morning. The digging had been carried out to erect pillars for a foot overbridge but there were no warning signs or barricading around.

MCD issues notices to buildings

75-year-old found killed, tied up

A senior citizen was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his Janata Flats residence in Janakpuri area on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as 75-year-old K.S. Mani, a former employee of a news agency, was found dead by his son John who had come to pay him a visit.
