Minor raped by neighbour
A eight-year old girl was raped allegedly by a 37-year-old man, who has been arrested, in Niti Bagh area of Aman Vihar on Monday evening.
The police officials said that the accused, identified as Sudhir Kumar, who runs a tea shop in the area, lured the victim to his shop on the pretext of offering her coffee on Monday evening. “Kumar is her neighbour. Since he was known to the victim, she got into his shop at around 6 pm. The accused later downed the shutter and allegedly started misbehaving with her. When the victim resisted, Kumar raped her,” a police source said.
Minor girl’s throat slit, kin poisoned
A four-year-old girl was found with her throat slit and her mother and younger brother were allegedly poisoned by unidentified assailants at their rented residence in Baljeet Nagar area of central Delhi on Monday evening.
