Diesel to be cheaper by Rs 2.50 in Delhi

Diesel will cost Rs 2.50 less per litre in Delhi as the state government on Friday rolled back VAT on the fuel from the existing 20 per cent to 12.5 per cent.
The decision will help contain inflationary trends and bring relief to the common man, Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit said while announcing the rollback.
