Unidentified robbers broke into the residence of a Congress MP in the high-security New Delhi area early on Saturday and decamped with cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees, the police said.

Dutch rape: Accused bail plea rejected
A city court on Saturday rejected the bail plea of Yasir Altaf, accused of raping two Dutch women while posing as tourist guide. The accused had on Friday argued that he had “consensual” relations with the complainant and was being falsely implicated in the case.
