At least 10 businessmen, including marble traders of Udaipur and Jaipur in Rajasthan, are under the scanner of the CBI in connection with the alleged fake encounter case of Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

Noted lawyer and BJP MP Ram Jethmalani on Tuesday accused the CBI of leaking details of chargesheet against former Gujarat minister Amit Shah to the media. An MBBS student who allegedly drove a speeding car that ran over 8 labourers, killing four of them, in south Delhi early on Monday has been arrested by the south Delhi police. The accused was trying to escape from the country and had boarded a plane to Russia when the police managed to catch him. The flight reportedly had to be stopped on the runway for his arrest.

Four labourers, including a 16-year-old boy, were killed when a speeding Honda City rammed into them on the Safdarjung flyover at around 2 am Monday while they were engaged on road repair work. Four others, including a woman, suffered critical injuries.
