Notice to AMU to put court meet on hold

After receiving representations from MPs and allegations of corruption against Aligarh Muslim University administration, the HRD ministry has on behalf of the President issued a showcause notice to Aligarh Muslim University asking it why the proceeding of the university to convene the meeting of the court on December 19 should not be annulled.

Labourer dies in fall at work

A 24-year-old labourer accidentally fell from the sixth floor of an under-construction hotel near IGI airport area on Thursday morning and died.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 11.30 am in Mahipalpur where the building of IBIA, a five star hotel, is being erected by a leading private building construction company. The police has registered a case of negligence against the construction company.

Infant dies at MCD health centre

Man jumps to death off city hospital
