Rape victim kin cut accused nose, beat him to death
Enraged family members of a rape victim waylaid an alleged rape accused, Shankar Jat, on Friday night in Bhilwara and beat him to death. The police arrested one person for murdering Shankar Jat, who had been named in the FIR for rape and abduction of the victim. The assailants also cut off the man’s nose and badly damaged his ears.

Congress flags off sandesh yatra in jaipur
With state Assembly elections due in Rajasthan, the ruling Congress launched its “Sandesh Yatra” on Saturday from Jaipur amid slogans and aggressive speeches made by senior party leaders against the Opposition BJP.

‘Wish to meet God’ drives 5 to death in Rajasthan
