Rahul skips LK b’day party, visits in office

AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday met BJP parliamentary party chairman L.K. Advani to convey birthday wishes to the veteran BJP leader. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi also wished the senior BJP leader.

No resumption of non-basmati export

Class 12 student beaten up

In what appeared to be yet another case of corporal punishment, a Class 12 student of a government school was allegedly beaten up by his school teacher in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi on Monday. While the school has assured action against the teacher, the parents of the student refused to file a formal complaint with the police.
